Today’s sailing at CMYC brought a relaxed, sun-soaked afternoon with a light and shifty breeze keeping things interesting. Racing followed a clockwise course with a mass start, setting the tone for some tight and tactical sailing.
Today’s race officers, Graeme Raxworthy and Mark Cornell. We had 19 boats on the water, with sailors completing eight heats. It was great to see everything kept clean and competitive, with penalties handled out on the course. Congratulations to all our podium finishers today, and a special mention to Tony for holding his nerve and defending his lead on the final lap of the only two-lap race, on heat 8.
Regards Mark Cornell
