Greetings CMYC members,

First off, last Saturdays results that I couldn’t download, remain undownloadable……..but the corrected podium places were, 1 Graham Parratt, 2 Ron Bedyn, 3 Glen Church. Now to todays results which were downloadable.

Our race committee was Bob Auton assisted by Roger Bamford, and they had NE wind of good sailing strength to deal with. They set a windward / leeward course with gates either end and 2 laps. They handled the racing administration wonderfully well, but some of us didn’t handle the sailing part wonderfully well, however to our credit I laud the sailors for the very few instances of upwind and downwind boats colliding, and again congratulations to those who performed give way tactics, of which I saw many. It was a very pleasant sailing day……maybe not for Luna Rossa but it was for us.
