The afternoon began with light rain showers and a shifty and good but cold SW wind.

A longish triangle/windward leeward course was set appropriate for the conditions.! We had 19 boats, and a mass start. The RO requested Brian T, at the briefing, to remind sailors of the windward /leeward passing rules. (on observation this paid off, with few infringements)

As normal the wind came and went, with appropriate course changes during the afternoon, a dying southerly and ended sunny. The assistant RO reminded sailors to protest /and for the offending boat to do the penalty. It is good to see new members participating, and with the more experienced skippers offering advice and help.

Well done to the podium winners, and great to see in most races the fleet finishes were very close ! All in all, an enjoyable afternoon (topped off by the Crusaders win!!!)
