Race Officer; Bob Auton, R Assistant; Roger Banfield.
Venue lake Victoria, weather gusty easterly, turnout 25 boats , behaviour 7 out of 10, people who thought they knew better, 15 , rules disregarded 120 , It’s always an interesting day being race officer as you sit there and take in the day’s events, yesterday there were more chiefs than Indians with the Indians well behaved , it appears that if you just touch another boat or skim the bottom mark , it’s not worth the time and effort doing a penalty, generally, the day went well with Polly and Ron sharing the wins in a fickle breeze that looked difficult to manage with a long beat providing plenty of passing lanes , a welcome to Ross , who has returned to the club after many years , sadly, I missed Tom’s help with the computer, keep safe folks .Robert Auton
