Today’s racing was a 1 – 2 – 3 fleet. Right on queue the wind set in to a nice nor east which freshened at times and the race officers set a triangle course with an option of another mark which was not used. Great racing and penalties sorted. Brian CJ371 had some very impressive line honours in his fleet, there were some really good race starts by Glen and Cliff in Race 7. (saving the best until last). Al Ross said he had great results until Glen put his sticky fingers in the computer and messed it up.
I want to thank Alex Aitken – first race officer for setting the course and giving the briefing, also Colin Freeman for putting out the marks and for his efforts on the computer. Feedback was that everyone had enjoyed their day. P.R.O. Jim Paterson.
