Peter Bradley’s report, with Assistance from Murray Deane:
The rain cleared, and by start we had a delightful light shifty N/NE wind. The course was a short triangle/windward leeward, which proved ideal with the 16 competitors comfortably completing 8 races.
Round the end, if over the line in the last minute worked well for most, but not so lucky for Brian….even match racers get it wrong sometimes!
The Peter Brock 05 was a bit slow down Conrod Straight. Must have been the wrong CRC sprayed on the hull prior to racing!!!? Best start went to Dayele, flying out on port at the top of the line.
The RO’s heard no disagreement’s and penalties were done with a smile. But the same old story ,the cream rises to the top! Congratulations to podium winners.
