What a great day for sailing today!  A gentle and as usual  oscillating breeze had the effect of spreading the fleet out in most heats, so thank you all sailors for making the Race Officers job easier by avoiding bunched finishes….  A windward Leeward course with  distance marks satisfied Bryan and a few others, plus avoided snarl ups upon roundings….

We got in 8 races, and there were a number of different winners of heats, but consistency was once again rewarded . Congratulations to Ron, Glen & Bryan for their podium finishes, and thanks to Peter Fisher for lighting the urn, and thus ensuring we had a cuppa at the end of racing, Bob for his advice, and others for suggestions regarding the number of races, the positioning of the start finish marks,  and numerous other matters to do with the racing…..  we make a great team!!
