Race officers: Graeme Raxworthy and Clyde Rogers.  We had a good turnout considering the Crusaders had lost to the Chiefs so some skippers were probably sitting at home contemplating their bleak future.

18 skippers started the day with a mass start which considering the number of boats went off with very few contacts. The first race was to the east but that soon changed to the south as the cold southerly came through. The course was windward leeward with a gate at the bottom of the run which gave skippers more choice on who they wanted to hit when rounding the mark.

The breeze could have been better but in spite of that we managed to get through 7 races (I think). Congratulations to the podium finishers, and Polly didn’t have it all his own way with some first places going to other skippers.  Regards Clyde.
