Yesterday was a great days sailing…….I don’t know who for though……… in fact it was so good that Glen actually congratulated me on my finish results over a cup of tea…..hrrrrumphh. His words were, quote, ”Congratulations on your 18th place”.Enough said on my dismal performance, except that Ralph and I commiserated each other. It will be a different story on Monday Glen, you wait and see.
Cliff was RO assisted by Peter Bradley and they set a nice long 2 lap course which suited the Mark Foy start………or should I say it suited some folk…….and as usual their were lots of protest hails but no lodged protests……..and our behaviour stakes remain unsullied. Congratulations to Al Ross, Ron Campbell and Glen Church for reading everything right and getting on the podium……..but you gentlemen should peruse your new handicaps, tsk, tsk.
I cannot spend long on this report as Westlake calls, but your new seasons sailing program will be emailed very soon once the committees approval is given.
