We were greeted with no wind and 28 degrees when we arrived at the lake for the club racing. The event was club racing with a mark foy start. Paul Campbell PRO and Rick Stone ARO. At 1 o’clock the wind came in from the north-west, we set a course between the willow tree and down to the jetty.

At the start of the first race the wind shifted to northerly so after this race we shifted the course to a more northerly course. But as luck would have it we had to again adjust the course as the wind shifted more north east. With all the course changes we only completed 6 races. Congratulations to Robert Auton 1st followed be Chris Greer and Ron Campbell All in all the competitors were well behaved and penalties done.

At the end of the day the heat had taken its toll on competitors, and they were relieved to be out of the sun.
