On Saturday 17th October CMYC ran an event titled Warwick Stephens Life Member using a mass start format, the Race Officers were Ron Campbell and Rod Liddy.  There were 22 registered entrants plus 1 other who was not. A simple course was set being basically a 2 lap windward/leeward to accommodate the predicted S-SW breeze which in the main was what it was for the day.

A start was made on time at 1.30pm and 7 heats were completed by approximately 3.30pm at which time all adjourned to a cuppa and biscuits. The manners of all were good with penalties called being accepted and undertaken promptly. An enjoyable days sailing was had by all and congratulations  to all skippers, especially to the  podium finishers.
