Rodney Ford and David Strack were your race officers. The weather changed from damp & cold, to brighter & warmer. There was a southerly wind with sudden strong gusts. Challenging conditions!
We set a simple course, with a top mark and a bottom mark. This worked our well with the 1, 2 & 3 start keeping congestion at the mark to a minimum, with 19 boats on the water: 3 groups of 6 & 7. Thanks to Bryan Treleaven for guidance. The motor on the dinghy stopped – blown fuse – so David resorted to the oars. Skippers well behaved and enjoyed the banter with a hot drink and biscuits.
Well done Polly, Bryan and Bob for race honours.
