The racing today was for the Graham Mander Memorial.  Polly kindly loaned us CJ75 which was on display at the briefing,  I had to smack a few hands because the sailing gurus were fiddling with it – sorry Polly (I don’t know if it will ever sail again!!).

We set an easterly course with 19 sailors on the start line.  A good wind when the gun went but just about every time they went around the top mark (no 2) it became a bit of a challenge as the wind was quite flukey. Racing was good and they all must have conferred as we seemed to get a different winner each race. Penalties and missing marks were all exonerated so well done everybody.

Mark Cornell CJ161 was my race assistant. It was his first time and he did a great job laying and retrieving the marks and assisting with the computer. Thanks sailors, a good day was had by all.
