Greetings all and a merry Christmas too,

Today was generally light winds, warm, and a lovely sailing breeze. Our behaviour stakes just scraped through, but their was some vociferousness, but I don’t know the details. The RO was Ron Campbell assisted by Dayele Hobson and they did a great job, even to having the urn boiled at the finish. The course was a windward leeward with 2 rounding marks at the windward end and a gate at the leeward end. Sometimes it was 2 laps, other times 1 lap. Apart from the podium placers, I thought the standout performances were David Strack and Anzan Zhang, both new to sailing or radio sailing, so well done the pair of you. As for the podium places, Derek was dominant all day but congratulations to Peter and Mike for a very close results. By the way J 327 was sailed by Roger Banfield, not grandson George.
