Race Officers Clyde Rogers & David Strack

Happy New Year to all members. The first race of the year got under way with a light south west breeze making its way through the trees. A windward leeward course was set to make the best of the wind direction and allow the skippers to seek out the best course around the marks.

Seventeen skippers started the day on a mass start and only one boat was called over in one race.  That’s a great effort by all skippers. The honours for the day were taken out by Dayele in first place with Ron second and Graham third.

On the water behaviour was excellent as usual and thank you to those members who helped out during the day.
