Greetings all,

Yesterdays sailing was again at Kaiapoi lakes with similar conditions to the previous week….another nice sailing day, however many sailors must have been watching dolphins on Lyttelton harbour because we only had 5 starters…..which meant I didn’t have to do any kayak rescues. Our RO was Colin Freeman assisted by Chris Stricker, and they did a professional job, even working out the results when we finished. Congratulations to all sailors, because mostly the fleet was close and it was mistakes that split us up, not boat speed. So Dayele had least mistakes and Paul and Tom had to be decided on a tie breaking rule and the first 3 positions were very close most races.

We all rushed home to watch Sail GP….to no avail.
