Today was a nice wind from our best direction, NE, sunny but a bit chilly. The RO was Selwyn Taylor assisted by me and Selwyn set a 2 lap course which worked out very good, plus with 19 entries he set an A,B,C, 3 fleet start to keep the starting fleets smaller. This also worked well today.
It is virtually impossible to predict a winner with A,B,C fleet starts because in each heat the fleet changes, so I had no idea until the results came out. Congratulations to podium winners, Graham Raxworthy, Bob Torrie and Cliff Bishop……..not a J boat in sight…tsk tsk.
The race committee were pleased with everyone’s behaviour, despite several entanglements, no acrimony was heard.
