Greetings all,

Today was a smallish fleet because quite a few members were over at Lyttelton watching the foiling catamaran races, the rest of us will watch them on TV. We had a delightful day sailing with a wonderful sailing breeze, and the smallish fleet made it ideal. Dayele Hobson was RO and I filled in as assistant and the course was a 2 lap triangle one which worked out really good.

Anzan borrowed Dayele’s boat and Selwyn Taylor retired from working on Friday so is free to come sailing on Saturdays, now this was a great incentive on lobbying for the RO,s. Of course Dayele was supporting Anzan while I was supporting Selwyn…….look at the results…….Selwyn triumphed, tsk tsk.

Congratulations to Roy, Derek and Chris for attaining podium places, and we reckoned over the cuppa, that all those sailors with MF handicaps over 60 should be banned from sailing club races, it was nice to see different folk on the podium. Tom Arthur.
