Attached are last Saturdays results, what a glorious day it was too, lots of humour, no arguments and fair breezes. Barry and Bruce had organisation well under control as RO’s and it was nice to sit around outside with our cuppa. One of the days items of note was Bruce phoned Peter Crofts at his Care Home and was giving a running commentary as the races were proceeding, and Peter could hear the sailors talking and identify who was who. The race was split into 2 fleet starts 50secs apart, so it was difficult to figure out who was in the hunt for the podium until the results came forth. Glen, Polly and Cliff were in the first start and seemed dominant but Ralph was in the second start and sneakily sailed so well I was surprised to see him on the podium when the results came out. Glen was a well deserved winner and stood out as the dominant boat of the day.
Congratulations to Barry and Bruce for a well run day, and to Glen, Polly and Ralph for ascending into glory.
