Greetings all,
Yesterdays weather was a lot better than the 25knot gusts forecast, even though there were some brisk puffs. Bob Auton had his first crack at RO with model yachts and everything went smoothly as his big boat experience came through. We had a visit from Warren Mears (our Dunedin member) who drove up for the day, but unfortunately after 2 good heats, the boat went on strike. The other notable performance was Al Ross, who still has not learned to count to 2. On 2 successive heats, he was so far in front that he carried on for a 3rd lap instead of finishing, thus losing many places, fortunately Al didn’t seem perturbed in the least.
Congratulations to the podium placegetters, Ron, Jim and Ralph.
