Hi CMYC members,
Today was a bit chilly with the NE wind but enjoyable sailing. The wind was fairly shifty with some big gusts that caused some of us to nosedive/broach/luff/ bear away/etc/etc/etc. Apart from that it was delightful sailing and Tom W. set a course of windward leeward with gates either end. That worked out surprisingly well with very few panicked headon alterations. Congratulations to Tom Wilda and Mike Baddely our race officers, everything went smoothly.
However, there was some aggro among the sailors so we are back to nil on our good behaviour stakes, but generally the majority are exonerating breaches in good spirit. I applaud those folk.
Cheers
Tom A SM
