Procedure for Members to follow when borrowing things from the CMYC
Borrowing CMYC Things.
The club has valuable and useful equipment which is available for use by members.
Generally, for key gear such as scales and the float tank, as used by official measurers, there is a good, informal procedure of notification among likely users.
With increasing demand, and the occasional double-up, we are introducing a procedure to ensure we keep track of who has what, and when. This should avoid wasted trips to the clubhouse in the case where equipment is already out. It is pretty easy:
1. Check with Secretary, Al Ross before borrowing. You can do this by:
2. Approval will be given immediately, unless Al knows it is already out on loan.
3. Pick up the gear and register it in the Borrow Book hanging from the noticeboard in the clubhouse. (Al’s contact details are also on the cover of the Borrow Book).
4. Cross out your name or note the date when you return it.
Contact me or any Committee member if you have any questions.
Thanks for your help,
Al Ross
