Judging and protests Training with CYA

Judging and protests Training

Join us for a discussion and training session for club volunteers involved in judging and protests has been organised for Thursday 8 August from 18.30 hrs till 21.00 hrs at NPCL.

(Note:  This training was originally scheduled for a weekend but it was suggested a weekday evening would suit more people.)

The aim is to have at least one “go to” person in each club for rules issues.

The training is aimed at volunteers who may support club activities by dealing with rules issues and protests.  Particularly, YNZ judges , the CYA Protest Panel and sailors who took part in the recent rules sessions with Jim Park and Ross May.

The evening will be focussed on Arbitration and Protest procedures to update our understanding of the processes and to answer any questions the participants may have.

Please make sure your club is represented. Bring a friend.

Registration with Ross May may.madr@xtra.co.nz or Jim Park jim.park@xtra.co.nz

Hope to see you there

Ross May
